About our showroom
In the heart of Copenhagen’s vibrant Nordvest district, you’ll find our showroom and office. At Design By Us, everything comes together under one roof: our team of 13, the showroom, the warehouse, our vintage lamp production, and our in-house atelier, where furniture is upholstered and lampshades are handcrafted. We work closely in an open office environment, combining our different areas of expertise to create the best possible experience for our customers. Our showroom is officially open on weekdays, welcoming visitors to explore our collection, experience our products up close, and discover the creative atmosphere that shapes our everyday work.
From idea to handcrafted detail
Our design team, together with the founder Rasmus Larsson, is constantly developing new designs while refining existing ones, ensuring that every piece is unique, innovative, and inspiring. Each piece of furniture, every lamp, and every detail is designed in-house with care and precision. When you step into our office, you’ll experience the creative process firsthand. Prototypes, materials, and ideas are always in motion, and you’ll most likely meet the entire team working, sparring, and bringing new concepts to life. It’s a dynamic and hands-on environment, where creativity, craftsmanship, and curiosity go hand in hand.
Home of our design studio since 1999
Since 1999, Nordvest has been our home. Once an industrial area, it has evolved into a buzzing hub of creative businesses, galleries, cafés, and designers. We are based in a former car factory, filled with history and character and in many ways, the area has grown alongside us. Nordvest is full of hidden gems worth exploring. Grab a bite at Tekno Eatery, a social and vibrant cafeteria, or enjoy a coffee and fresh pastries at Flere Fugle.
