Sophisticated Elegance

Materials That Make The Atmosphere

As we move into autumn and return indoors after a long summer, we turn our attention to the atmosphere of the home. It’s a time to create spaces that feel warm, intimate and personal, shaped by light and materials with character. For us, sophisticated elegance is found in the balance between a strong design expression and the details that make a space feel uniquely yours. It’s about choosing pieces that not only complement a room, but add something reflecting the atmosphere.

Materials That Make The Atmosphere

The Art Of Glass

Glass has always been an essential part of our assortment. We work with mouth-blown glass because it allows us to create subtle variations and tactile qualities that give each piece its own character. The small nuances in the material bring depth and a sense of craftsmanship to our designs, making the glass an integral part of the expression rather than simply a functional element. The Shahin series is a clear example of this approach. The combination of transparent and opal glass creates a soft, floating expression, while polished brass details add warmth and definition. When illuminated, the transparent glass brings lightness to the room, while the opal glass diffuses the light into a softer, more intimate glow. Together with the warm brass, Shahin creates a balanced interplay of light and material – adding warmth, depth and character to the home.

The Character Of Marble

There is something inherently distinctive about marble. No two pieces are ever quite the same, and its natural variations in color, veining and texture give every design its own character. Across our marble designs, the material brings weight, depth and a sense of permanence. Marble creates a sense of considered luxury. Marble adds a grounded, tactile quality that makes a space feel richer and more personal, bringing character to the room without demanding attention. Sophisticated elegance is found in the contrasts, between light and shadow, polished and organic, sculptural form and everyday function. It is about creating designs with presence and personality, made to become part of the atmosphere of a home and remain there long after trends have passed.
