A.C. Perch’s Café Interior Design

The A.C. Perch’s Café Interior Design project captures the essence of timeless tea culture in Copenhagen K. Known for its heritage, A.C. Perch’s has welcomed tea lovers since 1835. The original tea shop on Kronprinsensgade introduced Copenhagen to the world’s finest teas.

In September 2024, they expanded its iconic shop with a brand-new tearoom. Design By Us was honored to be part of this journey. Our role was to create an interior that reflects warmth, elegance, and the welcoming spirit of this historic tea brand.

Cozy Atmosphere for Tea Lovers

A tearoom must feel cozy, calm, and inviting. Guests should feel at home while enjoying their tea. To achieve this, we selected a warm palette of soft whites, rich browns, and golden accents. These tones create comfort while adding a touch of timeless sophistication.

Lighting also plays an essential role. Soft illumination enhances textures and colors, ensuring every corner feels both intimate and elegant. The A.C. Perch’s Café Interior Design shows how color, light, and materials work together to create harmony.

A Tearoom Filled with Character

Inside the new tearoom, guests will find several of our signature designs. Highlights include Nutty Pendants, Shahin Pendants presented in Flash Your Lamps, and Trip. We also customized upholstery for the seating, ensuring both comfort and style.

The TRIP No. 2 lamp in Moss Amber creates a focal point for tea tables. Its amber shade and mossgreen base deliver warmth, elegance, and a refined atmosphere that complements A.C. Perch’s signature tea experience.

Continuing a Timeless Tea Journey

This project unites tradition with contemporary design. It celebrates nearly two centuries of tea history while introducing a fresh space for today’s tea lovers.

The A.C. Perch’s Café Interior Design reflects the brand’s journey: from a small tea shop in 1835 to a modern tearoom in 2024. Every detail honors the past while creating a cozy and elegant setting for future generations.
