Description

Limbo is a modern and artistic pendant designed with a wish to play with illumination. It can be set in all directions – up, down, vertical or horizontal. The hand cut marble base is accompanied by two lightsabers that create the artistic appearance of Limbo. The lamp will balance beautifully over the dining table, in the kitchen, or the hall.

Limbo is available in carrara marble with black base or emperador marble with gold base.

For orders outside the EU, shipping starts at €29 and may vary depending on the destination.

Delivery within Europe typically takes 3–7 business days, while overseas deliveries can take 4–12 business days.

All our shipments are sent with GLS or UPS from our warehouse in Denmark.

The design

Design by Us / 2022

Limbo began as a playful thought, inspired by the carefree spirit of the limbo dance. The designers wondered how a lamp could defy gravity and traditional expectations of form. From this idea, sketches and experiments emerged, exploring balance, light, and movement.

The hand-cut marble base anchors the design with weight and elegance, while the “lightsabers” diffuse light from every angle, transforming the lamp into a dynamic sculptural object.

Design by Us' Story

Rasmus Larsson founded Design By Us in 1999 as a creative playground for imaginative design. From the very beginning, the goal has been to break traditional expectations in lighting and interiors, creating pieces that catch the eye while blending function with artistic form.

All our designs are made in-house at our Copenhagen studio. Some are produced in-house, while others are crafted by carefully selected partners, ensuring our vision is carried from the first idea to the finished piece.
