Description

Inspired by the symbolic lotus flower, this lamp mimics its shape just before blooming. When lit, the wavy glass casts a soft, petal-like glow. As each piece is handcrafted from glass, these lamps are never exactly alike. Just like the lotus flower.

With its understated elegance, the Lotus Lamp naturally commands attention, becoming the centerpiece of any room through its lightness and rippled glass structure.

Care Instructions: Avoid scratching the inside of the glass when cleaning. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth with warm water and wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol, acid, or other solvents, and avoid abrasive or rough sponges. No dishwasher!

Material

Lotus is crafted from hand-blown glass, with a dome on top that conceals the construction and adds a refined finishing touch. The light bulb extends from the base, becoming an integral part of the design. The lamp is completed with a black textile cord.

We offer free shipping on all orders within Denmark. Home delivery via GLS starts at 49 DKK.

For orders from EU countries exceeding 1,200 DKK (approx. €160), shipping is free. Please note that some items may be excluded from this offer.
For orders outside the EU, shipping starts at €29 and may vary depending on the destination.

Delivery within Europe typically takes 3–7 business days, while overseas deliveries can take 4–12 business days.

All our shipments are sent with GLS or UPS from our warehouse in Denmark.
You receives a tracking number once booked. Delivery within a requested time is not possible.

The design

Design by Us / 2022

The Lotus lamp draws its inspiration from the elegance and symbolism of the lotus flower. We wanted to capture that same sense of calm and natural beauty in a contemporary pendant. Inspired by the gentle curves of the flower just before it blooms, the design evolved into a lamp that combines organic form, soft ambient light, and sculptural presence.

Every detail, from the rippled glass to the subtle reflections, was carefully considered to bring the inspiration to life. The result is a pendant that transforms any interior into a space of quiet elegance, where light and design merge into a timeless, artistic experience.

Design by Us' Story

Rasmus Larsson founded Design By Us in 1999 as a creative playground for imaginative design. From the very beginning, the goal has been to break traditional expectations in lighting and interiors, creating pieces that catch the eye while blending function with artistic form.
