The design

Design By Us / 2026

The starting point for Miss Marble was an ambition to look at the traditional ceiling spotlight with fresh eyes. We have worked to develop a lamp where functionality does not have to stand in contrast to decorative value.

Miss Marble is not simply another lamp added to the collection. It is the result of a desire to make something familiar more interesting - to take a functional lighting element and give it materiality, character, and a stronger presence. From sketch to stone. From material to light. Miss Marble is our interpretation of how even the smallest source of light can help shape a space.

Design by Us' Story

Rasmus Larsson founded Design By Us in 1999 as a creative playground for imaginative design. From the very beginning, the goal has been to break traditional expectations in lighting and interiors, creating pieces that catch the eye while blending function with artistic form.

All our designs are made in-house at our Copenhagen studio. Some are produced in-house, while others are crafted by carefully selected partners, ensuring our vision is carried from the first idea to the finished piece.
